I said here for two nights whilst on an eclipse tour. Check in was quick and the room was easy to find. However the room was very dated, the furniture tired and there was no safe, USB charging sockets or UK plug socket. The bedsheet had a small stain on it and the shower made the floor wet. The included breakfast was very basic and was not replenished so if you were not the first to come down to it, you would find some things had run out. It was served in the hotel’s conference room where some of the furniture was very tatty as there didn’t appear to be a proper breakfast room. The hotel has no restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat within a short walk of the hotel including in the Galleria Shopping Centre.

Normally when I stay I have a nice experience and the staff is very friendly and the guy who checked me in was so nice. Caucasian younger guy with glasses. He could see I might have had an exhausting time before checking in and he was very sweet and gave me a bag of little goodies. It was a wow moment. However, the front desk agent Collin is the reason I will not be returning. I understand this isn’t a high end luxury hotel but I know for sure Marriott has standards and expectations for its employees. I called down to the front desk because something I had delivered was there. I asked if he could bring it up and mid question he says “let me stop you right there,” excuse me.. but then he says Im the only one up here so no I can’t bring it to you. There was no offer of an alternative just an incredibly rude no. But fine I used to work at the front desk at W hotel so I get it you have to man your station. But then i go down and not only is my bag on the farthest desk just sitting there but NO ONE is at the front desk! He knew I was coming down and he not only left it all the way 3 desks down u attended, didn’t take it to the back or anything, but he was not even at the desk. I waited a few minutes yelled hello, and eventually the sales coordinator lady comes out the back (meanwhile there is someone waiting to check in as well) and says can I help you. I asked who the gentleman (term used graciously) was that answered the phone she acted like she didn’t know so Collin might be a made up name (African American with braids and a beard) I asked where he was she said in the back…just wow. Then the next morning I check out with him. Rude, cold, unwelcoming, and the reason I won’t be coming back. Im given a budget every few months to stay wherever in that vicinity and i choose this place because it’s always been great. Not anymore.

Clean basic hotel. Staff is always welcoming and the rooms are always in good shape. Have stayed here more than 8 times and have always had a consistent experience. The lobby restaurant has a decent menu and you can get Starbucks in the morning.

I want everyone to know how this property treats Lifetime Titanium Elite members. They do not care about your status. I stayed at this property a minimum of 50 nights per year pre-Covid and the management staff was great. Now, they could care less about you. I booked through the app and put that I was checking in at 10:00 am. No one called or sent me a message that I couldn't check in that early. Instead, I show up from an early morning flight ready to check in so I could change for my appointment and they informed me I couldn't check in. I told them I had to have a room so I had to book with the Aloft down the street and when I went in to cancel the room, they said no problem BUT, they didn't tell me that they would be charging me $140 cancellation fee, when it was their fault. I will never book with them again until they credit me what they stole from me.

No internet in the room. Awfull service in the front desk. They never helped. No one is ready to assist. Hotel is not bad but serviced is the worst and if we are traveling for business purposes we expect to have good internet
